Anything that I think is unusual or perhaps not often seen or noticed . . . Then there's the problem of whether the shot is "odd", or "interesting" - sometimes I can't make up my mind which album it belongs in . . .
A system of canals built in the early 18th and 19th century to form a linked transport system connecting the main docks and rivers with the inland industrial centres. When they were started, the only other form of transport was the horse drawn waggon. The canal system allowed the industrial age to grow and flourish, without the canals it would have taken another 100 years.
