What a picturesque shot! Is that the morning fog just lifting? Is the grass chewed down by sheep, or is this a natural cut? Thanks for sharing...beautiful country you have over there!
It's late afternoon - heat haze from a bright sun on a cold February day. The grass is mown by the folks in a house behind my left shoulder. The area is public but they use it more than anyone else so they maintain it as an unofficial front lawn - it's their seat but they share it. The view is just too good to ignore I guess.
You certainly live in a beautiful part of the world ... and it's nice to see the sun shining, I didn't imagine it that way .. hehehe .. sorry, I couldn't resist!
Such a magnificent tree ... and well captured .. the road and the fenceline really add to the composition here emphasising the incredible width of that tree ..
