My colour favourites.

These are all COPIES from albums elsewhere here and the album is a collection of the shots that I particularly like.
Sometimes it's the photograph but more often it's just the image that I like.
Your views, whether appreciation or constructive critisism, are very welcome.

Plenty of great shots in this album.   I agree with your sentiments too - content often more important than the absolute quality of the shot.   I like this shot but the red "thing" going through the umbrella is a bit distracting - I would have been tempted to try to clone it out.   Cheers

Totally agree with your comment about "... often just the picture".    I have a FZ50 too but about to change - probably to FZ200.   One of my recent excursions Taronga Park Zoo Sydney I used ISO800 and I was quite disappointed with the noise in the images.   However here gives a nice film like feel to an invocative photo.

Peter, what a beautiful picture! The color contrasts, just great, perfect and impressive. Klaus

Thanks Klaus - combination of late evening sun and  the dark sky background. One of those shots where you're simply at the right place at the right time.

Yes, Yes, Peter, you're right 1000%! I know these accidents without end! As my cactus flowers. Or many a picture in our town. Depending on how the sun stands (east to west between = light or shadow on the motive). Klaus

Very appealing photo - good angle, good overall exposure, attractive lady and expression.    Is the "dimpling" effect noise or some other effect.   I have an FZ50 as my general purpose camera.

Hi Merl - nice to hear from you.
It's cropped from the corner of a much bigger picture - it's a massive enlargement.
The original was natural light, shot indoors in the lobby of the local Arts Center - big floor to ceiling windows.
